Our great weekend features two special dances. Friday night kicks off our special weekend with a dinner dance at the beautiful new Carlyle Club where you can enjoy a fixed price dinner or pay general admission to sit at the bar. Saturday night finds us at the Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo Park. Both nights will feature Lennart and eWa. Brush up on your Shim Sham!

Whether you love to dance, miss the days when swing was king, or just appreciate live jazz, you will dig that jive with Blue Sky 5 + 2! Playing songs made popular by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Artie Shaw and Nat King Cole, along with tunes by other swing era artists, the band also performs original compositions inspired by the Big Band era. Formed in 1999, Blue Sky 5 + 2 is dedicated to keeping live swing music thriving!

The Carlyle Club is a beautiful new Art Deco-inspired restaurant/nightclub that features fine dining and white tablecloth service. This will be an elegant yet intimate evening featuring our special guests Lennart Westerlund and eWa Staremo Burak. You can choose from a fixed price 3-course menu featuring salad, choice of sirloin steak, stuffed chicken or broiled talapia, and dessert for $55 a person; or you can join us at the bar for $20 cover charge if purchased in advance ($30 at the door).
