Join us for two great dances and two great classes with the legendary Frankie Manning. Space is limited for the classes on Saturday, September 10, and we strongly recommend you pre-register to insure your space. Drop-ins will be accepted at the door if space permits. All dances are general admission.

CLASSES ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10. CLASSES ARE $20 EACH.

12noon-1:15pm LINDY WITH THE MASTER
Learn a fun routine incorporating Lindy, Charleston and Jazz Steps. You must be comfortable with basic 6-count and 8-count patterns.

1:45-3pm SWINGIN' DOWN MEMORY LANE: FRANKIE'S FILMS AND STORIES
Enjoy a casual and intimate session with Frankie as he shares his favorite film clips, both famous and obscure, and reminisces about his extensive and varied experiences in the world of Lindy Hop. We'll sit on the floor and fire up the video projector and just let Frankie roll. Bring your questions, or just relax and be entertained and educated by this world-famous legend.
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THIS CLASS. DROP-INS ALLOWED IF SPACE PERMITS.

The Boilermaker Jazz Band is an ecstatically fun band performing authentic hot jazz, ragtime, and swing. The 17-piece George Gee Swing Orchestra enjoys their hard-earned reputation as the swingin’-est, blowin’-est, hepp-est classic big band in New York City. And they take special pride in their ranking as the #1 swing dance band by legendary Savoy dancers like Frankie Manning and Dawn Hampton! The George Gee Swing Orchestra was the first big band to play on MTV. They were featured in an NBC-TV movie (with stars Tyne Daly and Richard Crenna) and were spotlighted on Entertainment Tonight, Live With Regis & Kathie Lee and performed for 11 million viewers on "Live from Lincoln Center" on PBS Television. They also provided specially scored music and made an "animated" appearance on an episode of the Fantastic Four cartoon for Marvel Comics. They’ve dazzled audiences from Boston to Beverly Hills and from Zurich to Tokyo for over 25 years.
