Sue and Gary's Annual Have a Heart Hop fundraiser with NATTY BEAUX Each year, on the Friday closest to Valentine's Day, Sue and Gary's regular weekly dance with live music becomes the Have a Heart Hop. This year the beneficiaries aer the Forever Home Rescue Foundation and the Honor Flight Network. There'll be auction items (you can even bid on dancers!), contests, snacks, special treats, and fun galore. You know you want to be a part of this, enjoying two of your favorite activities at the same time: dancing, and helping to make others happy. From 1920s speakeasy numbers such as "Puttin' On The Ritz" and the Charleston through the romantic, elegant 1930s tunes of Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and George Gershwin, through the wonderful swing era of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and the rest, Doc Scantlin's Imperial Palms Orchestra takes you on a dizzying trip through time. Having played hundreds of the biggest and best balls, special events, private parties and concerts, throughout the U.S. and Europe, we are delighted to welcome Doc and the Imperial Palms back to the Spanish Ballroom for another night of great dancing.
