This class will focus on musicality. Develop your musicality with a deep dive into four jazz songs with traditional structure and use different techniques to express the macro-musicality and micro-musicality of these songs both individually and through your dance partnership.  Some of the ideas we'll explore: additive and subtractive footwork, eight-count breaks, common ways to add two and four beats, molding your basics to the music, creating contrast, level changes, rhythmic footwork variations, freezes/stillness, hops, and more.
