11am-12noon—Hollywood-Style Lindy I
Your introduction to this smooth and sophisticated style of Lindy. Even if you've been dancing this style for a while, you'll be amazed at all the wonderful tidbits of information you'll pick up from the couple that helped reintroduce Jean Veloz to contemporary swing dancers and popularize Hollywood-style Lindy in the 1990s. All levels.
12:15-1:15pm—Hollywood-Style Lindy II
Keep going! Emphasis will be on the elements that define this style. You must have taken Hollywood-style Lindy I or have a working knowledge of this style.
1:15-2:15pm—Lunch break
2:15-3:15pm—Foundation and Technique
What makes this style unique, what gives it such a fluid and dynamic look and feel? Marcus and Bärbl will examine the compression and expansion that is at the heart of Hollywood-style Lindy. All levels but you must be comfortable with 8-count patterns.
3:30-4:30pm—Hollywood-Style Lindy III
You're at the finish line. You now have a solid understanding of the 6- and 8-count patterns and are ready to master the connection that is the necessary starting point of Hollywood-style Lindy. You must have taken Hollywood-style Lindy I and II or have a working knowledge of this style. Intermediate/Advanced.

SUNDAY CLASSES
11am-12noon—Footwork Fast and Fancy
Improve your footwork, increase your foot speed, add variety and excitement to your dancing. Based on material that can be used in any style of swing, Marcus and Bärbl will also introduce some footwork that is identified with classic Hollywood-style Lindy. Intermediate/Advanced.
12:15-1:15pm—Styling and Musicality
You've mastered the footwork and basic patterns, and now you're ready to move on to the styling that we associate with dance greats such as Dean Collins, Jean Veloz, Hal Takier, Jewel McGowan and others. Learn how to use these special touches to hit breaks and dynamic changes in the music. Intermediate/Advanced. 1:15-2:15pm—Lunch break
2:15-3:15pm—Collegiate Shag I
Originating in the 1920s, Collegiate Shag is a simple 6-count slow, slow, quick-quick rhythm that is usually danced in closed position and is well-suited to faster tempos of music. Collegiate Shag became popular during the great swing revival of 1998 when Hollywood-style Lindy was sweeping the nation. You'll easily master the footwork and a handful of basic moves that you can use on the dance floor immediately. All levels.
3:30-4:30pm—Collegiate Shag II
More, more, more! Build on the basics and increase your vocabulary. You'll never have to sit out the fast songs again. You must have taken Collegiate Shag I or have a working knowledge of Collegiate Shag.
